I have always loved creating some type of art. As a child I would spend hours and hours lost in the joy of creating and drawing. When I became a wife and mother, life shifted into high gear and the time available for art diminished. However, once my children grew older, the desire to create once again bubbled up to the surface.
Currently when I am not painting studio paintings, or out in the field sketching, I enjoy teaching various workshops.
Through the years I have had the privilege of studying with Susan Crouch, Sterling Edwards, Leslie Fehling, Jan Groenemann, A.J. Schexnayder, Brenda Swenson, Jennie Tomlin, Wes Waugh, and William Youngblood.
My work has been exhibited in juried exhibitions, judged shows, and several galleries.
Currently my work is sold at these North Carolina venues: The Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, Ruth's Attic Bookstore at the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove in Asheville, and the Cabarrus Art Guild and Gallery in Concord.
